Dear Foamers,

could anyone tell me the difference between phi, phiv, phid and phiU in SonicFoam?

Besides, since sonicFoam and rhoPimpleFoam both use PISO algorithm, what difference between them? I have checked the source codes and found the .C file are almost identical.

Thank you all.

Sam.

I only knows that Phi = U when it comes to solve incompressible models. I have no clue about the sonicFoam one.

Any news about the meaning of phiv and phid in general?
