Hi everyone I'm having some troubles figuring out which thermal boundary conditions to apply over a baffle to calculate a sensible heat flux through it in hypersonic regime. I am using rhoCentralFoam as solver and I'm trying with these settings

T
{
type compressible::thermalBaffle1D<hConstSolidThermoPhy sics>
value uniform 295;
thickness uniform 0.03;

// Solid thermo
specie
{
molWeight 20;
}
transport
{
kappa 1;
}
thermodynamics
{
Hf 0;
Cp 10;
}
equationOfState
{
rho 10;
}
}

Is it correct to use these boundary conditions in OpenFOAM in case of hypersonic flow?

Thanks in advance

Hello Valerio, I am interested in your case. did you solved your problem yet?
I am working with rhoCentralFoam too. I am using kw-SST turbulence model on rCF with adiabatic wall. I want to know the amount of wall heat flux and change the wall B.C but I don't know which B.C i should change first. I will be very happy if you could share some clues.
