Hello everyone,

I'm interested by the simulation of granular flows using the continuum approach (so without LIGGGHTS). In a first time, I would like to find a way to implement the most common µ(I)-rheology before moving to more complex models like the non-local granular fluidity model. Unfortunately I am still a beginner regarding implementation and programming and I don't really know how/where to start with openFoam. I'm not interested by the coupling with a gas/liquid phase for now, so I guess twoPhaseEulerFoam is not suitable. I'm only interested by accurately represent the solid phase alone.

Do you know if such a solver has already been implemented in OpenFoam? Or a similar solver that I can modify? I am a bit lost right now, so I'll be extremely grateful if you have any advice about the way to go.

Hello! I would also want to implement the mu(I) model in interFoam! I found the one you uploaded and looking into the code in .C file I am a little confused about the pressure. Why do we have to define a Peff pessure which is Peff=P -rho*g*h? I think that this is the hydrostatic one defined in interFoam solver. Could anyone make a more clear explanation
