Hello everyone, I am now using openfoam to compare with experimental data. The results compare well before the stall. But when there is a stall situation and the lift coefficient should decrease, my lift coefficient is still increasing. Can someone tell me why this is. I am using simpleFoam, SA model.

I don't think there is a RANS or even hybrid RANS-LES setup that can predict the polar coefficients correctly for a given airfoil at stall and post-stall regions.

I think that you answered your own question there - it's not an OpenFOAM issue. Have a read up around the subject and you'll learn how difficult the problem is.
