Hi all,

I would like to model the evolution of the temperature inside an empty tent under the sun radiations and an airflow from a given direction.

My inputs are:
- Tent CAD
- Tent material properties (thickness, density, thermal conductivity, heat capacity, emissivity, reflexivity)
- Air vents porosity
- Inside air temperature
- Outside air temperature
- Air flow speed and direction
- Solar power and radiation direction
- The tent is supposed fully rigid

Do you think such case could be handled by an openfoam solver ?

I have already used ChtMultiRegionFoam for my work and thought it would do the job but I don't know how to include sun radiations.
Moreover, I don't really know either how to model a solid with such a thin thickness. Would baffles be relevant for that ? (Not really familiar with baffles).

Thanks for your help on this !

Cheers,

Simon
