Hello,

I am using a variant of the v2006 icoReactingMultiphaseInterFoam solver, called thermocapillaryInterFoam/lpbfFoam, made by someone named patrick zimbrod.

Patrick's Github: https://github.com/pzimbrod
Solver link: https://zenodo.org/badge/latestdoi/368456876

The variant adds surface tension and marangoni force. I would like to simlulate both the melting and evaporation of powdered metal but, being new to OpenFOAM, I am at a loss as to how to set up evaporation. Another question I have is whether or not this model has condensation. I have read from other threads that this is not the case, so I would also like to ask if someone has any clue where to start.

The zip attached is the base case that he provided, it uses yade to setup the model, as the solver is designed to study laser powder bed. The case itself does not have a gas phase, and I do not know how to add it in.
Thanks.

Hi

Did you achieve the addition of the gas phase, please?
