Oscillating residual in steady-state solver

Default Oscillating residual in steady-state solver

I modified drivAerFastback tutorial to increase mesh, and changed car model into more detailed one I have.


It use simpleFoam with k-w sst turbulence model



However, after making this change, residual started to oscillate

Residual continues to diverge and return to near zero. I want this residual to constantly decrease and converge to zero so I can get result, but it never does so.



Why would residual oscillate in steady state solver??
