LVH_CFD is on a distinguished road
Hello,
I was looking into the implementation of multiphase reactions and I saw that the reaction rate in OpenFoam (version8) is being calculated by:

for (label i=0; i<nSpecie_; i++)
{
c_[i] = rhoi*Y_[i][celli]/specieThermos_[i].W();
cSum += c_[i];
}

If you have a cell that has e.g. alpha.gas = 0.3 and alpha.liquid = 0.7
and you have a reaction A.gas à B.gas

How does Openfoam take into account the alpha.gas phase when computing the concentration and subsequent reaction rate?

Kind regards,
Laurens
