Hello Foamers !

I need your help ! I am discovering the joys of wave generation with openfoam using the waveAlpha module. The thing is my calculation is starting very well.

For 17 seconds, I have no problem and suddently, a very weird thing occures in the calculation a weird pressure appears for some unknown reasons. You can see the effect of this divergence on the 17th second (image).

My setup is like that :

wave generation as inlet
wave absorbtion as outlet
wall on the bottom
symmetries on sides
inletoutlet on top.

Here are the waveProperties :

Code:
upstream
{
    alpha           alpha.water;

    waveModel       cnoidal;

    nPaddle         1;

    waveHeight      1.0;

    waveAngle       0.0;

    rampTime        3.0;

    activeAbsorption yes;

    wavePeriod      6.0;
}
Also,

I don't understand why this input :

Code:
    upstream
    {
        type            waveVelocity;
        value           uniform (1.5 0 0);
    }
does not generate a current flow as I expected. Do you know how to have a current+wage generation ?

Thank you for your help ! I can provide any additional informations.

Have a great day !

Magi

Absolutly not. I changed my subject in the mean time. But I am still interesting on knowing the reason of these divergences. Please, post the solution if you find anything !
Thanks !
