Direction of g in interFOAM

Hi all,

I could see that the direction of g in interFOAM, angledDuct and waterChannel tutorials are different. One is in y and in waterChannel is in z direction. Why this discrepancy? Gravity should always act in the y direction right?
Or does it depend on something else?
I plan to create mesh in ansys and then convert.

Hello,

It depends on the coordinate system you are using, it could be anything.
I didn't check the tutorials you mention but probably the geometries and coordinate system are oriented differently.

Hi Yann, yes. For my case I use ansys for creating geometry and mesh. SO I have used g like used in ansys coordinates. I hope it is fine.
