Hello FOAMers,
I'm curious about the availability of adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) for two-dimensional cases in OpenFOAM. Although I've observed it functioning well for the 2D dambreak case, there seem to be mixed opinions online. Some claim it's available and functional, while others suggest that it's accurate only for 3D cases, implying that what I've seen in 2D might not be accurate. Could someone please confirm if AMR for 2D cases functions accurately? And, does it also work for axisymmetric cases as well? Thank you. |
