Hi Fomers,
i am a PhD student, doing research in supersonic reacting flows confined in diverging ducts. i have been trying to understand the OpenFoam software for implementing it for the Scramjet like applications. The flow field is in the upper bounds of supersonic regime (Mach 3). Energy-flow coupling cannot be neglected. i have few questions regarding openfoam capabilities. 1) does the software have pure density based solver using Roe/AUSM+ scheme? 2) Does it have the EDC model for combustion modeling with Gran's EDC Correction for finite rate chemical kinetics? 3) what can be the numerical solution strategy for scramjet like applications in OpenFoam? can any body help to get more insight into openfoam! |
