Hello world.
Taking a look into the LESProperties in the channel395-case I have recognized a change to the LESProperties dictionary from version 1.5 to 1.6. I'm not familiar with the new dictionary. Is there some documentation anywhere? Lets be specific: The tutorial case uses a oneEqnEddy-model with vanDriest-damping. In the vanDriestCoeffs-entry I can find the following: Code:
vanDriestCoeffs { delta cubeRootVol; cubeRootVolCoeffs { deltaCoeff 1; } smoothCoeffs { delta cubeRootVol; cubeRootVolCoeffs { deltaCoeff 1; } maxDeltaRatio 1.1; } Aplus 26; Cdelta 0.158; } And why is there an entry with delta cubeRootVol inside the vanDriestCoeffs entry? I thought is either vanDriest or cubeRootVol? Why are these two linked by now? I have made some basic experience with LES, but I would not say I'm an expert. Maybe I'm just too confused by the new look of the dictionary and miss the link to the old coefficients... Have a nice day. S.

I think this is because you use the cubeRootVol method for delta. Thus, you ask for using the vanDriestCoeffs for this particular one. This explains the entry inside the vanDriestCoeffs.
