TheMadHungarian is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I've been working with a static mesh for most of the time, using the interMixingFoam solver, with pretty good results.

I would like to make the simulation a bit more complex by removing an existing boundary condition (a wall) at a given time.

I have "wall" boundary conditions already set up as well as "atmosphere".

I tried my best to find some good examples on how to use the attachDetach modifier - first off, I'm not even sure where it goes or how to use it. I suppose the dynamicMeshDict needs to use attachDetachFvMesh instead of the usual staticFvMesh...

1) Can anyone point me in the right direction?

2) If I have a group of surfaces as the "disappearing" part of the mesh, what kind of BC are they? "wall" first, then "patch"? I'm confused...

Thanks
Andy
