Hello Foamers!!! I am somewhat baffled by some of the results I've acquired in my LES simulation. It is a natural convection turbulent boundary layer flow over a heated vertical plate. Herein lies my question, is it possible to accurately capture <u'u'> and <T'T'>, but overpredict the turbulent heat flux, <u'T'>? That is essentially what my results show; thus, I am assuming mesh resolution may be the issue. These are the results.
Any feedback will be immensely appreciated? |
