HI,
I am really new to CFD and OpenFoam. I require a solution in openfoam so as to validate a result that I have in another software. Anyway my problem: If you look at the Darcy equation v = K * gradient(h) I need to do this with a free flow simulation between two infinite plates. The aperture and the surface roughness are somewhat equivalent to K. I need to find out what v is – then I will get K and can compare it with the Darcy K in another solution. I would like t know how this is possible in openfoam. I have very little knowledge in the subject and please forgive me if this is a stupid question. If you could include details like the solver which I am to use, the conditions etc. it would be really helpful. Thanks! |
