Is running OpenFOAM really tough?

The basic/starting queries on OpenFOAM can be solved easily with Chalmer's university work (available online):

By referring the above stuff you can avoid basic doubts

Chalmers detailed study (includes report, solver files, case, etc.) on different topics for OpenFOAM beginners:

(1) buoyantBoussinesqSurfactantFoam Tutorial
(2) pimpleFoam tutorial for channel flow, with respect to different LES models
(3) interphaseChangeFoam tutorial
(4) simpleFoam tutorial (transitional turbulence modeling)
(5) Projection of a mesh on an stl surface
