Hello.
I have did a case which involves flow past a 3D circular cylinder through icoFoam. It runs well, and the vortex shedding form agrees previous research well. However, when I changed the "convert to meter" in the blockMesh.dict from "0.001" to "0.01",which was supposed to enlarge the whole model 10 times, the vortex shedding phenomenon disappear. The fluid field appear to follow a lower Reynolds number form. Should't the Reynolds number increased because of the increase of cylinder diameter? |
