Hello all
I am new in OpenFOAM. So I want to learn how to model the multiphysics problem in OpenFOAM.
Specifically, I want to compute the particle trajectories in OpenFOAM. Those particles are governing by three main forces: drag force, electrical force and gravity force. In order to do this task, I used (my strategy simulation as similar to my attached file):
(1) electrostaticFoam solver for electrical field computation. Solution of this solver will be used for electrical force computation in particle tracking

(2) icoFoam solver for fluid flow velocity field computation. Solution of this solver will be used for drag force computation in particle tracking

My problem is that I don't know how to import the solutions of electrostaticFoam and icoFoam into particle tracking solver to compute particle trajectories.
Anyone who have experiences about this problem, please give me a idea ? I really appreciate your contribution

TIA./

Can these simulations be subsequent or should be executed at the same time (like in a coupled manner)?

EDIT: and which solver is the `particle tracking solver`?

Hello HPE

I prefer to a subsequent simulation.

For particle tracking, I am going to use DPMFoam.

Please refer to my attached file, sir.
