Hello,
I am going step by step with the OFv2012 installation. I run the cavity case as a test but I am having trouble with the paraFoam command as below: Code:
~/run/cavity$ paraFoam Invalid $PV_PLUGIN_PATH and -plugin-path= not defined No supplementary ParaView/OpenFOAM reader modules Using builtin reader: paraFoam -vtk Created temporary 'cavity.foam' /opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v2012/bin/paraFoam: 420: paraview: not found in addition I have also another issue: each time I open a new terminal window then I need to redo the bash-shell configuration as below: [CODE] echo "source /opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v2012/etc/bashrc" >> ~/.bashrc source $HOME/.bashrc [CODE] I would be greatful if someone can explain me what could be wrong here. many thanks Last edited by OlivierM; April 15, 2021 at 04:24.
