Hi Foamers,
I have a simple rectangular geometry with inlet (left patch), outlet (right patch), symmetry (bottom patch) and wall (top patch). Please see the attached figure.

On the wall (top patch), I need to add MASS ADDITION when the inside chamber temperature reaches certain value. How can I do that ?

Hi,

May be you can use flowRateInletVelocity boundary condition with the massFlowRate option?

Or do you want to inject particles with certain mass flow rate into the domain?

Hi HPE,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, actually I want to inject particles with certain mass flow rate into the domain.

Injection particle in my case is a solid propellant which burns and add to the flow.

Please see this tutorial then:

lagrangian/reactingParcelFoam/verticalChannelLTS

and inspect its constant/reactingCloud1Properties for injectionModels section wherein parcels are added by using a specified mass flow rate.
