Hello everyone,
adaptative mesh refinement is very useful in VOF calculations to be both more precise and less computing intensive. But when you have to solve for mesh displacement, the dynamicFvMesh line in the dynamicMeshDict file is already occupied with "dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh" entry. Is there a way to use both dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh and dynamicRefineFvMesh entries or am I missing something obvious ? |

Yes it is possible, you just need to combine the two, into something like "dynamicRefineMotionSolverFvMesh." There's a Chalmers student report that provides an example of how to do it : link / site

Thank you for your input, I looked at the pdf and it is clearly what I wanted to do.
I will have a deeper look when I have free time. |
