Eho4736 is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am currently working on a laser powderbed fusion simulation, and would like some help in adding layers. Currently, I am using yade to simulate the powder settling on the previous melted layer. The current issue I am having is that OpenFOAM won't recognize the previous layer. I have extracted the mesh from paraview, but I do not know the proper process of making this mesh solid. The extraxted mesh is essentially a very complex sheet, without any good way of closing the mesh. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I would do this, or if there is a better approach?

Best regards,
Elbert
