Hi,
Recently I am trying to utilize the cubicUpwindFitPolynomial scheme for the convection term in my problem. It seems I need to put one or more parameters for it. I tried to refer to the source code, but cannot find out what I should to put there. And in OpenFOAM there are actually many differencing schemes which are lack of documentation or references. It is impossible to the beginners like me to utilize them. It would be very helpful if a reference paper can be provided for each scheme, I think. Thank you in advance for any reply. Best Jinbiao

A parameter to define the accuracy of the polynomial fitting seems required. I put 1 first. The calculation collapsed. Then I used 0.25, the calculation moved on, but the convergence was not good. It may be caused by the variation of the nonlinearity of this method.
That is my understanding about it now. I am looking forward to some comments. Thanks.
