ParaView shows a list of data types and ask for it

Hello Foamers!

I have installed OpenFOAM 1.7.0 and ThirdParty. When I start paraFoam, it shows me a list of possible data types and I must choose one. After I have chosen OpenFOAM paraview works on fine. It bothered me, how can I get rid of it?

Hi Claus,

the same happened to me.
The reason was the command

Code:

. $HOME/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.7.0/etc/bashrc

was missing in the .bashrc file.

Or at least you forgot to source it afterwards

Code:

. $HOME/.bashrc

But then of course your OF version shouldn't be working as well.
