Hello,
I have installed OpenFOAM on ubunty 10.04 without any problem. When I run Allrun on this tutorial I get an error message on fd. When I run the Allrun manualy in a terminal window this error does not show up.
However when I open paraFoam, I can select cellSets and cellZones, but in Volume Fields no items show up like temperature. According to the log files these values were calculated. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

Hello Peter,
I have not used the chTMultiregion solver much, but I recently tried working on the tutorial. I use Ubuntu 9.10. I will just share my experience, may be it is useful.
First while running the tutorial through the Allrun script in my case also it was not running, but then i changed the first line of the Allrun script to !/bin/bash. Then everything was working.

While loading the case for postprocessing you have to use Paraview not ParaFoam and to view the results you have to load each region seperately by Opening the files with curly braces and then check your output fields.

hope it helps

Hello Kumar,
Thanks, changing to bash did the job.
Now I can open one region in paraFoam, starting paraFoam with the option -region, and in Paraview opening the other regions with open file.
Best regards,
