hello everyone!
I'm having a little issue with an interDyMFoam run: it runs perfectly in serial but when I launch it in parallel I have this error message: Create time Create mesh for time = 0 Selecting dynamicFvMesh dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh Selecting motion solver: displacementLaplacian [0] [0] [0] --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: [0] size 10183 is not equal to the given value of 10186 [0] [0] file: /scratch/dlconti/S60snappyZrefinementDin/processor0/0/pointDisplacement::boundaryField::S60 from line 58 to line 100. [0] FOAM parallel run exiting [0] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- the partitioning (decomposePar) is OK. I really dont understand what is going wrong. I did the same thing with another mesh, and I had the same problem when decomposing with more than 8 processors (with 8 it ran fine but terribly slow.. ) can anyone help me?! thanks! DL |
