Default additional passive scalar transport equation

Has anyone any tutorial or experience on implementing additional transport equations for mixture fraction in is e.g. the same fuel is injected more than once during the same cycle and one wishes to track them separately?
It should also be possible to add them together to achieve the total density in a cell etc...
