I am solving pressure poisson eqn for N-S eqns for unconfined flow.
I want to solve a laminar 1D flow with that by using
1 cell in x & y axis and 300 cells in z dir.
I am specifying a velocity at inlet and neuman BC for outlet.

Is this approach correct?

What should be my BCs with respect to pressure for?
x-y(inlet & outlet)
x-z(top & bottom)
y-z(side faces)

What should be my BCs with respect to velocity for?
x-z(top & bottom)
y-z(side faces)

Thanks in advance

use empty patch for top and bottom and side faces
for pressure u can use zeroGradient in inlet and fixedPressure at outlet

Thank you for the reply.
Can you please explain what empty does theoretically to the velocity and pressure?
