Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and CFD in general.
I am a senior in Aerospace Eng. now, and I was looking into taking the OpenFoam training courses offered on their website (foundation and advanced back to back in the same weekend) next summer. http://openfoam.com/training/ Has anyone any experience with these courses? Are they worth the money? I would be fresh out of Aerodynamics 1 when I take the course, and I'm familiar with C++ but not completely fluent with it yet (only one class with it so far). Any advice? any other CFD training I can find? Ill most likely be doing graduate work with Ansys Fluent and Maverick meshing software, but I'd like to get some training while I'm still at the undergraduate level so that I am more enticing to possible research professors to take me on for grad school. Thanks to everyone! |
