Looking for a MSC thesis topic research with openfoam

Hello, im close to start my thesis and I need ideas for topics for my MSc research, as my research supervisor is currently only has topics relating to CFD code development that i dont like very much. He told me to come up with my own topic. I would like to do something in the field of oil and gas industry with openfoam. Please post any ideas you have to do research. I am looking for a starting point. Thanks a lot!

=> maybe you should ask Frank Bos for advise. As his company is a member of the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Oil and Gas Industry and he has a lot of experience with openfoam.
I am not affiliated with Frank, so maybe he is to busy to answer.

Thanks for the answer Elvis, at least one person give me some advice. Im still looking for a thesis topic. Sorry about taking so much time to answer, but i was very bussy at work: traveling and a lot of paper work. Elvis i couldnt make contact with the person you recommend, but i keep trying. If someone can make some sugestion about a good topic for a master thesis please give some guidelines. Thanks a lot!
