Dear All,
I've been searching for a long time now and I couldn't find a good solution for my very simple problem, so I thought I might ask here. I have a porous region in which I would like to extract the mass flow in Z direction throughout the region. My simulation is steady state. I can get this value on a single slice but either I want to make 100 slices or use the animation the move the single slice along the axis. With this, I want to have 100 sample points in the region and I would like to export that data for each crossection/time instance. I could only get to the point to find the mass flow rate on a single plane and with the animation, I can see the value changing in the spreadsheet with the moving plane but I don't know how to store and extract this data. Alternatively, I could make 100 slices and save the data for each but I'm not familiar with Python and so far, I couldn't manage to do it. Thank you! |
