Hello to everyone,

my problem might be stupid, but is quite disturbing since sooner or later I'll have to produce decent quality plots of my results.

I'm doing conjugate heat transfer and my results involve a T field in a solid matrix. Without adding too much superfluous detail, my geometry features symmetric (zeroGradient) BCs on the left/right faces and periodic (cyclicAMI) BCs on the top/bottom faces. Everything in the results seems good, and if I plot the original cell data T field on a section view I get no problems (see 1st picture).

The problem comes when I view the interpolated point field (the default one calculated by paraview) in order to get a better plot: at the four corners, strange values are shown (see 2nd picture).

I don't know how the field is calculated, but I guess that the issue could be caused by the cyclicAMI boundary conditions.
Does anyone know what the exact cause of my issue could be and how should I solve it?

Thanks for the help.

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I'm having the same problem. Have you solved it?

Marco
