Hello all,
I'm considering water flow in small pipes. For post-processing I'm using ParaView v3.12.0. I want to estimate water amount in pipe over time. For that I used Clip option with scalar value 0.5 to create iso-volume of water in pipe. Then I used option Integrate Variables. After integration I have table with the results as usually. Does anybody know, what is the difference between values of alpha1 and Volume? (like it's on the first image) If considered domain is fully filled by water, these values are equal. If not, values of parameter Volume are higher than values of parameter alpha1. But the character of generated plots over time is identical (like it is on the second image). I would appreciate any help to find an explanation for a difference between these two parameters which we get after integration Thanks in advance. image1.jpg image2.PNG |
