Hi everybody,
I'm trying to visualise evenly spaced streamlines, but it fails when I try to load a 2d vtk dataset that I created. I just recently found out about evenly spaced streamlines implemented in Paraview (see. https://blog.kitware.com/evenly-spaced-streamlines-2d/). However, it is not featured in the ThirdParty-v1712 ParaView 5.4.0. Therefore I helped myself to the binaries of ParaView-5.5.0-Qt5-MPI-Linux-64bit binaries. It does work with the example presented in the link above, however when I try to apply the filter to a custom 2d dataset (vtk, vtm or vtp, exported by paraview from a slice) the following error message pops up: Code:
ERROR: In /home/buildslave/dashboards/buildbot/paraview-pvbinsdash-linux-shared-release_superbuild/build/superbuild/paraview/src/VTK/Common/ExecutionModel/vtkExecutive.cxx, line 784 vtkPVCompositeDataPipeline (0x7ae7850): Algorithm vtkEvenlySpacedStreamlines2D(0x7ae6b00) returned failure for request: vtkInformation (0x67f05d0) Debug: Off Modified Time: 418855 Reference Count: 1 Registered Events: (none) Request: REQUEST_DATA FROM_OUTPUT_PORT: 0 ALGORITHM_AFTER_FORWARD: 1 FORWARD_DIRECTION: 0 Best regards, Felix |
