danraw is on a distinguished road
Good evening everyone,

I'm new to OpenFOAM, paraView and to this forum.
I am running the pitzDaily case on OpenFOAM but with 4 times the cells' number of the original mesh for more accuracy!

I need to plot a diagram delta - x, where:
  • delta is the dimension of the boundary layer (at 99% of U0) (I honestly don't even know how to find it)
  • x is the coordinate along the evolution of the flow
Until now I just learned how to "plot over line" but in this case paraView just makes all the work plotting all the already existing variables.
Does anybody know how to do it?

Then, how could I find the slope of the curve at one point?

Thanks everyone for the help!
