[OpenFOAM] View options in ParaView

Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask you if there's any way to save .openFOAM files containing a simulation with its properties and filters applied during the simulation itself

Then I'd like to know if it is possible to show two different simulations (actually the same simulation but with two different initial conditions) in the same paraView window so that I can compare them as shown in this picture

Finally, if anyone has ever dealt with aachenBomb tutorial, do you know a way to visualize particles during their motion and coloring them in according to a certain parameter?

Please I'd love if you helped me step by step because I'm not very skilled in using paraView.

Hello!
A part of what you are looking for is a so called Paraview State file. You can save it with File > Save State and Open with File > Load State. The file stores information regarding the files you loaded and the filters you applied. Build your state, save it, close Paraview- Open a new Paraview window and load it again to see it working. You can also open an existing state but replace the data it uses: this is a great way to process multiple simulations. You will see this option when you load a state.

Furthermore you are asking for two windows or views. You can show an arbitrary number of views side by side. To create a new view, you go to the top right of the default viewport where it reads "RenderView1". There are buttons next to it allowing you to split view in two separate ones vertically or horizontally. Then it gives you a bunch of options what kind of view you want. In your case, hit "render view" to get a second 3d viewport. Now you can show anything you want from the filters you already have or import other .foam files and display stuff from them.
Maybe watch some basic tutorials on youtube to get an easier start.
