Electric Field calculation

I wish to calculate the electric field for a 3d case (for ohmic heating calculation). Having the electric potential solved, i can get the electric field provided that the grids are orthogonal. For skew grids, there will be a difficulty in adding up the electric potential gradients. Is there a function in Phoenics v3.6.1 to calculate the gradient of a variable? Also, is there another method to calculate the Electric Field from electric potential for skew grids? Or any other methods?
