Hi there,
I am new to PHOENICS. As you have all discussed on this matter, I am facing this problem here where i am not being able to import either a stl or dxf file into PHOENICS. the only thing appear is just a cube. I wonder what is happening to it. Is the number of faces really matters? Please advise me~! Thank You. |

Dear Louis
Only solid bodies can be imported to PHOENICS not faces with zero thickness. When you load stl files to PHOENICS from SolidWorkes, you should save it in Asci format not binary. Regards, Sima |

Hi Sima,
I have at last successfully import the file into Phoenics. Probably is because of the Co-ordinate when i transfer which is in the negative. One problem is solve, but another one arise. Now when i simulate air flow through my vehicle model, air seems to flow through the surface. How can i over come this problem with the models. |
