Hello guys,
I would like to ask if anyone knows how to use a bi-exponent function in distribute (I cannot find such an option in distribute->functions). So I want the points in the connectors to be as the file's attached. In the picture each connector is actually two connectors, although they aren't visible. Sometimes it isn't easy to create to connectors with the same spacing and then join them.. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Unless I'm misunderstanding your inquiry, what you want already exists in Pointwise. You can insert "breakpoints" into a connector without having to split it. A breakpoint does two things. First, it fixes the location of the grid point at the breakpoint location. Second, and what I think you're after, enables specification of different spacing constraints and distribution functions on either side of the breakpoint.
To get to this functionality, select your connector(s), Grid>Distribute and go to the Break Point tab. Let me know if this is what you're after, Chris Last edited by cnsidero; April 26, 2013 at 08:46. |
