2d laminar flow through Pipe- Axis - Symmetric

Hi Dear Pointwise Users,
I am very new to Pointwise and OpenFoam. I am trying to run 2d Steady state, laminar and incompressible flow through circular pipe using OpenFOAM solver simpleFoam. I am looking for your help on how to create Axis-Symmetric domain in pointwise. I have also done my homework here for this problem and when I imported this mesh to OpenFoam and got few errors. (1): Pipe has following dimensions ( Length =8m and Diameter= 0.2 m ). (2): Reynolds Number =10. I made the database in Pointwise having dimensions ( Length=8m and width of pipe =0.1 m i.e. the radius of the pipe ). and made connectors on it. I made structured domain having dimensions 200 in the axial direction and 10 in the radial direction. Then made rotational extrusion having total angle of 5 degree. Afterwards I defined boundary conditions like inlet, outlet , wall and wedge. I am attaching here my Pointwise and OpenFOAM files. Please help me for this problem. I will be very thankful to you. |
