Hi David.

I have a question about STEP format import into the Pointwise.

Assuming I have a BRep model created in a CAD software. It is closed and is watertight without any open edge.

I export the BRep in STEP format and import it into Pointwise.

In what kinda situations there are possibility for the CAD kernel to break the BRep model and sees it as a not watertight model?

I am wondering how a CAD reader can break a watertight model imported as a STEP format? Is there a format out there that never breaks?

Best,
Pay
