Hello everyone,
I just wanted to confirm/ask whether a combination of a tide + waves in the FNPF module is possible. For the SFLOW- and CFD-module, one could try to generate an additional (uniform) inflow with W10 and I guess try to simulate at least one high tide/ low tide. Also, the patch boundary conditions would be an option. Is such a thing also possible in the FNPF module? From my understanding (and the user guide), patchBCs do not work at the moment for FNPF. So I guess without a little programming, adding a tide wave to a storm scenario is at the moment impossible? Thanks for your help! |

Hi Felix,
yes, the patchBC approach for waves is on my ToDo list. Are you thinking FNPF current plus waves for a real-world case or lab case? I guess if it is not to complicated, this could be done without patchBC. |

Hey,
I was thinking about something like a real world, one day simulation of a storm scenario with waves + tide. |
