What is your intention here?
Why do you have C functions?
Do you intend to simulate a floating body in a domain with miscible fluids?

The main reason your get an error is that you use X 312 mooring which is based on springs while activating quasi static with X 310 2.
If you want to use X 310 2, then use X 311 commands.

If you want mooring lines defined by springs with X 312, then use X 310 4.

Other than that you have a few erroneous inputs that will give you bad results. Eg. -9.8 acceleration due to gravity in all directions. This is to be applied only in the z direction with W 22 -9.81 m/s.

Dear All,
I have run successfully file ctrl.txt that Kamath revised but I realy want to look for the basic theory of floating body and Mooring in Reef3D (there are no examples in the tutorials). What is the principle of wave reduction of floating objects and how to declare it in the model?
Thank you very much

Hi!

You could have a read on the following papers regarding 6dof theory in REEF3D. Cheers!
