Question Applying an external force to a moving object

Hi, REEF3D team
Thanks to your software. During the process of using, I have a question, it seems that the X option can only add the gravity of the moving object. If I want to apply an external concentrated force or uniformly distributed load on the moving object, can it be achieved?

check out X 210/ X 211 / X 221. These provide external forcing on a floating body

Thank you for your reply, Professor Kamath. However, it seems that X210 and X211 describe the three linear velocities and three angular velocities of object motion. What I want to achieve is to apply a concentrated force to a certain point of an object, including the position of the point and the magnitude and direction of the force. Can this be achieved? If possible, could you provide a concise description?

Additionally, what do the six inputs in X211 represent? What is the meaning of column S in the file?

What type of situation are you thinking of?

Right now it is not implemented, but it should be possible to do that.

I am trying to simulate the movement of an object with external concentrated forces and bending moments when scour leads to insufficient burial depth.Is it impossible for external concentrated forces and bending moments to be applied to the object?

It sounds to me a bit too complex for the current sediment algorithm.....
