Dear REEF3D Team or anyone who might be concerned,
I have just installed REEF3D under WSL2 and everything is going well. I have also tried the FNPF test cases, and it also works. However, when I tried the SFLOW test case, I got an error warning as follows: HYPRE solver broke down! Emergency Stop! 1 Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? Or is there something wrong with my installation? I appreciate any suggestions that you can provide. Regards, K |

Dear Prof. Hans Bihs,
Thank you for your response. It was all the SFLOW test cases. Looking forward to finding out more. Regards, Kemal |

In my experience, SFLOW solver will get that error with hypre version 2.28 or later. You can try hypre version 2.27.

Thank you for your suggestion! However, is there any particular way to install a specific version? Since I simply used the command "git clone https://github.com/hypre-space/hypre.git"

Either download the compressed folder at https://github.com/hypre-space/hypre...es/tag/v2.27.0 and unpack or do git clone --branch v2.27.0 https://github.com/hypre-space/hypre.git

The problem has been fixed in the 23.12 release of REEF3D.
