Dear members of the REEF3D,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my sincere gratitude for your program, which has allowed me to successfully simulate two-phase flow with a free surface and scour around different structures. In attempting new cases, I am interested in exploring the possibility of improving computational speed by closing the free surface due to the deep water depth. I want to use one-phase flow (F 10 1) without a free surface for simulation. However, I have encountered challenges, as my attempts to implement this approach have not yielded successful resultserror.jpg.

I am reaching out to seek assistance and guidance from the community. I appreciate any insights, knowledge, or experiences you may share regarding this matter. Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
Yuhang Zhang

F 10 1 is a bit of an experimental option and does not really work. If you are interested in a faster simulation for open channel flow, you could check out SFLOW.

Thank you for your response and advice! I'll give it a try in my simulations.
