Hello REEF3D team,

I recently conducted a simulation on the free decay of a spar with a heave plate in a numerical tank using Reef3D. For this, I followed the control and ctrl inputs provided in the free decay tutorial case outlined in the manual.

I have attached the input files and comparison plots for your reference. Upon analysis, it's evident that the experimental decay curve exhibits a quicker decay compared to the numerical simulation. This suggests a deviation in damping characteristics.

I would greatly appreciate your expertise in identifying the reasons behind this difference and kindly request your assistance in correcting any errors in my inputs.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
Bhargav

Best to always use the latest version, right now it is 23.12. Especially for 6DOF, we have done a lot of changes and improvements during 2023.
