weird behavior indeed

I found OpenFOAM/4.0-foss-2016b (easybuild) works fine while it is true that 2.3.x mapFields just cannot avoid even if I tried the above proposal

As far as I know it is consistent on a patch : You choose a cell on a patch and extract its cellID and then go to the patch and say patch.Cf()[cellID] it will be printing the cell center of the cell...

Well, you don't get rid of the problem by unsetting/ignoring the Error. The Info you get above means that there is a division by zero happening and you have to deal with that.
