Air will flow in their own "fluid domains". Nothing at all will happen in empty spaces. This is very different from when looking at a geometry in a 3D modelling software.

Are you combining solid, porous and fluid domains? In that case you need "solids" for all of them, and they're then defined differently in CFX/Fluent after meshing.

Do you have an interior "body" as a solid also?...

Do you have an interior "body" as a solid also? Does this get a check mark when you mesh the entire geometry, to indicate that mesh is finished?
